A Message to All Members

These policies were debated and selected by the Board of Directors of the Restoration Movement along with outside input from key advisors, all of whom come from different backgrounds — left and right — from across the country. We have agreed that in order for the country to heal and move forward, it is of the utmost importance that these policies be enacted immediately. By becoming a member of the movement, and those who will eventually run for office under the banner of the Restoration Party, you will agree to these policies, regardless of personal ideological views or political ambitions.

24 Core Policies
Government & Elections
1
Campaign Finance Reform
All political campaign contributions shall be restricted to individual American citizens only. Corporations, political action committees (PACs), super PACs, lobbying organizations, and other institutional entities shall be prohibited from donating or contributing to political campaigns. The purpose of this policy is to ensure that elected officials remain accountable solely to the citizens they represent, rather than to corporate or special-interest financial influences.
2
Government Transparency Requirements
All elected officials shall be subject to comprehensive transparency requirements. Individuals seeking or holding public office must disclose their professional background, business affiliations, financial assets, stock trading activity, tax filings, and sources of political funding. These disclosures shall be publicly accessible so citizens can fully understand the potential interests and relationships that may affect the decision-making of those who serve in government.
3
Term Limits & Age Guidelines
Term limits shall be established for all elected positions at the local, state, and federal levels to promote accountability, encourage new leadership, and prevent the long-term concentration of political power. Age eligibility guidelines should also be implemented to align with the federal retirement age, ensuring elected officials are able to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of their office.
4
Election Integrity & Voter Identification
A voter identification requirement shall be implemented to strengthen public confidence in the integrity of the electoral process. Establishing a clear and uniform voter ID standard would help ensure that only eligible citizens participate in elections while reducing opportunities for fraud or unlawful interference, protecting the legitimacy of election outcomes and reinforcing trust in the democratic system.
5
No Government Shutdowns
Mechanisms shall be established to prevent federal government shutdowns and ensure the uninterrupted operation of essential public services. In the event that elected officials allow the government to enter a shutdown due to failure to pass necessary funding legislation, those responsible shall face clear accountability measures, including potential ineligibility to seek or hold public office for a defined period.
6
Single-Issue Legislation
Legislative procedures shall prioritize transparency and accountability by requiring that proposed laws address a single subject or policy issue. Limiting legislation to a single issue would reduce the practice of combining unrelated provisions into large, complex bills that are difficult for both legislators and the public to review thoroughly, promoting clearer debate and making it easier for constituents to understand decisions made by their representatives.
7
Independent Fiscal Oversight
A temporary independent fiscal oversight body shall be established at the beginning of each new presidential and gubernatorial administration. This commission would conduct a comprehensive review of government expenditures, produce publicly accessible reports detailing how taxpayer funds are being spent, and ensure that public funds are properly accounted for and allocated in a responsible and lawful manner.
Economy & Fiscal Policy
8
Fiscal Responsibility & Balanced Budget
Federal fiscal policy shall be guided by a commitment to responsible budgeting and long-term financial stability. Government spending should not exceed available revenues, and policies shall be implemented to move toward a balanced federal budget and the gradual reduction of the national debt. A comprehensive review of federal spending shall be conducted to identify areas where expenditures can be responsibly reduced while maintaining essential government functions.
9
Antitrust Enforcement
Federal economic policy shall prioritize the preservation of competitive markets and the prevention of excessive corporate consolidation. Antitrust laws shall be actively enforced to prevent monopolistic practices and excessive market dominance. Existing statutes — such as the Sherman Antitrust Act — shall be renewed and enforced to ensure that markets remain open, innovative, and accessible to entrepreneurs, small businesses, and emerging companies.
10
Domestic Manufacturing Revival
The United States shall pursue policies that encourage the revitalization and expansion of domestic manufacturing. Rebuilding America's industrial capacity would create high-quality jobs, strengthen economic resilience, and reduce reliance on foreign supply chains for critical goods and materials. Strengthening domestic production will enhance the country's economic independence while positioning the United States as a leading force in global trade and innovation.
11
Consumer Ownership Rights
Consumer protection policies shall reinforce the principle that individuals have full ownership and control over the products they purchase. When individuals purchase physical goods — such as vehicles, appliances, or electronic devices — they shall retain access to all built-in features and capabilities without being required to pay additional subscription fees. The goal is to restore clear ownership rights and prevent business practices that effectively convert purchased goods into ongoing rental services.
National Security & Foreign Policy
Military Restraint
The United States shall adopt a policy of military restraint, committing to avoid initiating new armed conflicts unless such action is clearly justified, necessary for national defense, and unavoidable after all diplomatic options have been exhausted. Any authorization for the use of military force must strictly adhere to constitutional requirements, with formal approval granted by Congress as outlined in the United States Constitution.
Discontinue Foreign Aid
The United States shall discontinue the use of taxpayer funds for foreign aid to other nations and instead prioritize domestic economic stability and national interests. Resources currently directed abroad shall be redirected toward addressing the needs of American citizens, including infrastructure, education, and healthcare.
Justice & Accountability
14
Equal Justice Under Law
The justice system must operate under the principle that all individuals are subject to the same laws and standards of accountability. No person, regardless of political position, wealth, influence, or social status, shall receive preferential treatment or exemption from legal responsibility. The consistent and impartial application of the law is essential to maintaining public trust in government institutions.
15
Strict Penalties for Serious Crimes
The criminal justice system shall maintain strict accountability for the most serious offenses. Crimes such as murder, rape, treason, large-scale fraud against the government, drug trafficking, and human trafficking represent grave violations of public safety and public trust. For these offenses, the justice system shall establish the most severe penalties permitted under law, including the possibility of capital punishment where constitutionally and legally applicable.
Education
16
Education System Reform
A nationwide effort shall be undertaken to reform the American education system to address declining academic performance, falling literacy rates, and the growing disconnect between higher education and workforce needs. Educational policy shall focus on strengthening core academic standards, improving literacy outcomes, and ensuring that students graduate with practical knowledge and skills that prepare them for meaningful careers and civic participation.
17
Trade Schools & Alternative Education Pathways
Greater emphasis shall be placed on expanding and supporting trade schools, technical education programs, and training in the arts and sciences. These alternatives can provide valuable career opportunities while addressing workforce shortages in essential industries. Higher education institutions shall also undergo review to address rising tuition costs and ensure students receive clear value for the financial investment required to obtain a degree.
18
Homeschool Tax Incentives
Parents who choose to homeschool their children shall be recognized through appropriate tax incentives, reflecting the fact that they are independently providing educational instruction without relying on public education resources.
Energy & Infrastructure
Domestic Energy Development
Responsible development of American oil and natural gas resources shall continue in order to maintain energy security, support economic growth, and keep energy costs affordable during the transition to future technologies. The United States shall also prioritize the rapid development of nuclear fusion energy through strong collaboration between government, research institutions, and private industry.
Infrastructure Modernization
A comprehensive effort shall be undertaken to modernize and revitalize infrastructure across the United States. This initiative shall prioritize the repair and modernization of roads, bridges, and other critical public works, with a focus on durability, long-term performance, and responsible use of public funds. Infrastructure projects shall also place greater emphasis on architectural quality and thoughtful design, encouraging construction of public buildings and spaces that are durable and aesthetically inspiring.
High-Speed Rail & Regional Transit
The United States shall expand the development of high-speed rail and regional commuter rail networks to improve mobility, reduce roadway congestion, decrease environmental impact, and make cities and communities more accessible, efficient, and livable.
Health, Privacy & Technology
22
Food & Water Safety
National health policy shall prioritize the protection of public health by ensuring that the food and water supply is free from harmful substances. Regulations shall be strengthened to eliminate unnecessary chemical additives, artificial dyes, microplastics, and other substances that may contribute to chronic illness or long-term health risks. Companies that introduce harmful substances into the food or water supply shall face significant legal and financial consequences.
23
Digital Privacy & Data Protection
The collection, tracking, storage, and sale of personal behavioral data by private companies shall be prohibited. Individuals shall not be subjected to constant digital surveillance simply for using modern technology or online services. Companies shall not be permitted to justify invasive data collection through lengthy terms-of-service agreements. The tracking, storage, and commercial sale of personal user data for advertising, profiling, or third-party distribution shall be banned outright.
24
Protecting Minors from Social Media
Policies shall be implemented to protect minors from the potential developmental and social harms associated with excessive technology and social media use. Individuals under the age of 18 shall be restricted from accessing social media platforms, and broader guidelines shall be established to limit excessive technology exposure for children and adolescents. These measures are intended to encourage healthier childhood development and ensure stronger protections for minors in the digital environment.
